The vertically configured wall bed is always the best choice if you have an 8-foot ceiling (or nearly) because it’s easier to use and more convenient.

Queen VERTICAL beds measure 16” deep x 68” wide x 87” tall and the bed projects (P) 86” into the room when open . The full bed is 62” wide x 82” tall and projects 81.” A twin is 16” x 47” x 82” and projects 81.”

HORIZONTAL
The horizontally configured bed is a better choice for a room with a lower ceiling or a narrow room.
QUEEN | Horizontal
Queen HORIZONTAL beds measure 16” deep x 87-1/2” wide x 68” tall and project 66” into the room. A full bed is 82-1/2” wide and projects 62.” A twin is 82-1/2” wide x 47” tall and projects 45.” All horizontal beds include a finished top. Horizontal twin beds do not have a table option.
